Contractor's Induction

All Contractors, Sub-Contractors and their employees are required to have completed the University's Contractor Safety Induction prior to commencing work on any University site.

The induction aims to ensure all individuals working on our sites are aware of UWA's safety policies, procedures and documentation as set out in the Contractor Safety Handbook.

The induction will conclude with an assessment. A pass of 85% must be achieved to be issued with a temporary UWA Contractor Safety induction card, which can be printed by the inductee.

The inductee must then attend the University to collect their permanent photo bearing induction card as soon as practical.

The Safety Induction card is valid for a period of 3 years and must be carried at all times on UWA sites and shown on request.

Please note: No contractor or sub-contractor employee may work at the University without a valid Induction Card.
