Manual Handling Risk Management Training
About: | For sections of the University that have not yet developed a manual handling risk management plan in accordance with the University’s Manual Handling policy. The main aim of the session is for a manual handling risk management plan to be developed for the area. | Scope: | Participants will:- - Learn about the relevant Occupational Health and Safety legislation
- Identify manual handling hazards in their workplace, assess the level of risk and assist in determining practical solutions
- Learn how to apply WorkSafe Western Australia’s ‘Code of Practice Manual handling’ to reduce the risk of manual handling injury.
- Equity Advisors and Safety and Health Representatives.
