Workers' Compensation and Injury Management for Supervisors

About:

For supervisors and managers at the University who oversee staff and who want to gain knowledge on workers’ compensation and assisting injured employees return to work.

 

Scope:

Participants will gain an understanding of :-

  • The Worker’s Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981
  • The employer’s legal obligations towards the injured worker under the Act.
  • The injured employee’s responsibilities.
  • Injury management principles and return to work programmes.
