Highly recommended adjunct course:

It is highly recommended that participants also complete the ‘Mental Illness In the Workplace for Managers and Supervisors’ course in order to be aware of what is required to fulfil your legal obligations regarding supervising employees with a mental health issue or illness. Two course dates (July and November) have been aligned in 2015 to facilitate the courses to be completed together. Please note you will need to register for the two courses separately.

This course is for Managers and Supervisors of the University of Western Australia. It outlines their roles and responsibilities with respect to Work Health and Safety (WHS), Injury Management and Workers Compensation. This course is a blend of online and workshop sessions.

Participation is now monitored as part of the University’s Health and Safety Objectives and Targets.
