Critical incident Enhanced Desktop Exercise – Wednesday 24th June
The University has a number of emergency management plans including for the main Crawley (and Nedlands) campus, Currie Hall, Oral Health Centre, Shenton Park Field Station and plans for smaller locations (as required).  There is also a UWA Critical Incident Management and Recovery (CIMR) Plan which is activated when the scale or severity of an incident threatens the University’s people, operations, assets, environment, or long-term prospects and reputation.  Training on the CIMR Plan was provided to staff on Tuesday 23rd June and an Enhanced Desktop Exercise conducted on Wednesday 24th June to test the response and recovery aspects of this plan.  The exercise will also be used to refine elements of the CIMR Plan.
