Student SafetyThe Australian Safety & Compensation Council (ASCC) has published a new guide to getting students to work safely (see weblink below). It outlines six key guiding principles for teaching health and safety to students who are preparing to enter the workplace. The principles are intended for use by Schools, Teachers and developers of material for teachers and students. This is the premier conference for tertiary sector OHS professional and is held every two years. The theme for the conference is ‘The Storey So Far’. The venue will be RMIT University (Swanston Street, Melbourne). Expressions of interest are required by 1 December 2006.
