Staying Connected Staying Connected is a half day program delivered in the workplace designed specifically to support fathers going through separations. It provides practical ideas to improve personal wellbeing, coping and communication skills, and help employees take control of their lives. Staff turnover, absenteeism, lost productivity and workplace accidents can all be linked to the experience of separation. The program can benefit employers by increasing employee morale, loyalty and productivity, and reducing unscheduled leave and workplace accidents. Other Organisational Initiatives Curtin University - Healthy Lifestyle Program Curtin University has established a "Healthy Lifestyle Program" which forms part of Student and Staff Services within the University Life portfolio, and aims to encourage staff and students at Curtin to have a healthy lifestyle. Monash University - Wellbeing Program & Calendar The Occupational, Health, Safety & Environment department at Monash University have developed a Wellbeing Program & Calendar which includes weekly walks on campus, running groups and meditation sessions. CSIRO Mineral Pedometer Program CSIRO Minerals have a number of health and wellbeing initiatives in place, including the "Stepping to Good Health Pedometer Program". The program encourages employees to become more physically active by using a pedometer, which calculates the distance a person has travelled on foot by counting their steps. University of Southern Queensland The University of Southern Queensland offers employees the opportunity to participate in a health program known as the Fit and Well USQ Corporate Health Program.
