Safety, Health and Injury Management and Wellbeing

RiskTeq

Our role is to develop and assist in the implementation of the UWA safety, health and wellbeing programs in order to minimise the risk of injury, illness and property damage.

We provide consultancy and other services to promote best practice and legislative compliance in all University and related activities.

RiskTeq is an application for planning, managing, recording and reporting on field trips or similar off-campus activities. It is designed to improve the safety of everyone when undertaking off-campus activities such as field work, excursions, diving, boating and wherever there is risk. Dealing with unfamiliar surroundings can present challenges to anyone planning a project. RiskTeq provides tools to effectively manage safety, environmental and operational risk and to ensure that risk management strategies and responsibilities are communicated to all participants. RiskTeq also facilitates the obligatory compliance issues i.e. record keeping, currency of qualifications and training, fieldtrip team locations, post activity logs and reports.

RISKTEQ

RiskTeq Participant Registration Guide

This guide is to help get Participants started in RiskTeq and includes instructions on registration, dashboard navigation and workflow steps.

Current Status and Implementation

Riskteq account is the currently required register for ALL Divers wishing to Dive with UWA

RiskTeq is being tested with a view to implementation across UWA to plan, assess, approve and manage all fieldwork activities. The 'roll out' will be in stages and determined by focusing on schools which regularly engage in higher risk off campus activities such as diving. The system is centrally configured by Safety, Health and Wellbeing and will be administered locally by individual schools. In an attempt to accommodate local business rules, specific configuration is required for individual schools. Engagement and consultation with future participating schools is ongoing.

If you would like information on the future roll out of RiskTeq in your school/centre please contact:
