Emergency Medical and Travel Assistance

Our role is to develop and assist in the implementation of the UWA safety, health and wellbeing programs in order to minimise the risk of injury, illness and property damage.

We provide consultancy and other services to promote best practice and legislative compliance in all University and related activities.

Pre-trip Information and planning

Healix provides pre-travel information for UWA Staff (via the Travel Oracle App and Travel Oracle Web Site) including:

  • Security and Travel alerts
  • Country Information and guide
  • Travel and Security tips
  • Personal Records storage
  • Emergency Calls and mayday alert

Register online at https://traveloracle.healix.com/UWA  by following the steps below:

  1. Complete registration Form to create an account
  2. Enter Policy Number: UWA16349
  3. Click "Register"

Downloading the App using App Store or Google Play

Use the Policy Number published for the client to register for the first time.
Once registration is completed, you won't be asked to register again when you open the app.

Medical and Travel Assistance

Healix provides the following assistance for UWA staff:

  • Access to the 24/7 Operations centre ensures UWA staff have a direct line to Healix Operations coordinators and Medical team in a crisis to provide a helpinghand at times of difficulty when UWA staff and their dependants are away from home in unfamiliar surroundings. These Services include:
    • Dedicated 24/7 helping to the Operations Centre
    • Medical evacuations
    • Repatriations including repatriation of mortal remains
    • Medical monitoring case management
    • Prescription/medication replacement
    • Outpatient and inpatient referrals including arrangement of transportation assistance for outpatient visits
    • Assistance/repatriation of minor children and spouse/loved one travel assistance
    • Travel and visa advice including embassy referral and visa assistance and airport/port assistance
    • Lost passport, tickets and baggage assistance
    • Emergency document delivery, message relay and travel services
    • Lost wallet and credit card support including emergency cash advance
    • Legal referrals
    • Arrangement of interpreters
    • Emergency hotel arrangement and bill settlement
