Safety, Health and Wellbeing

Assessment

Our role is to develop and assist in the implementation of the UWA safety, health and wellbeing programs in order to minimise the risk of injury, illness and property damage.

We provide consultancy and other services to promote best practice and legislative compliance in all University and related activities.

This service is for UWA Staff and PhD Students with musculoskeletal issues potentially associated with their workstation or home workstation that can’t be addressed using a self-assessment screen. Ergonomic assessments will continue to be made available with some changes to the normal process. Due to current social-distancing issues home visits cannot be conducted however assistance can be provided via phone call to Ph.6488 7931.

IMPORTANT

You are encouraged to complete a self-assessment screen using the information on the UWA intranet https://www.safety.uwa.edu.au/topics/physical/ergonomics/workstation
