Safety, Health and Injury Management and Wellbeing

Give Blood

Our role is to develop and assist in the implementation of the UWA safety, health and wellbeing programs in order to minimise the risk of injury, illness and property damage.

We provide consultancy and other services to promote best practice and legislative compliance in all University and related activities.

Give blood and help save lives

UWA is part of Red25, an initiative that encourages organisations to help with achieving the vital blood donations Red Cross need each year.

Every blood donation saves three lives! The majority of donated blood goes to people with cancer, as well as people who have suffered traumatic accidents, burns or those undergoing surgery.

Support UWA's partnership with Red Cross

You can register your blood donation to contribute to the UWA tally by joining our 'University of Western Australia' Red25 group online. You’ll need a Donor ID number, so if you’re not already a blood donor you can get one by calling 13 14 95.

From March to June 2018 your donation will help contribute to our total in the Tertiary Blood Challenge.

The closest Donor Centre to Crawley is 1/140 William Street Perth (just over 5kms away).
