ChemAlert online training is available to all UWA staff and students with a Pheme account and is accessed via the University Learning Management system.
The ChemAlert eLearning system is a training tool for staff and students of the University who are either new users requiring a basic understanding of the ChemAlert system or experienced users looking for a refresher. Once enrolled, an individual can work through the modules at their own convenience and access them as many times as they like.
Included in the training are a number of tutorials on various aspects of ChemAlert, user interactive components and self assessment tests to help individuals become familiar and comfortable with using the ChemAlert system. The online course contains 1 demonstration module and 6 interactive training modules covering various aspects.
The learning modules included are:
For each module there are tutorial, try and test components (except for the Quick Tour, which has only a tutorial component). The ‘try’ component prompts the user to do something and provides feedback on whether what is done is correct or otherwise. If an incorrect action is performed a hint is provided to help the user perform the correct action.
