Handouts

All contractors, sub-contractors and their employees are required to have completed the University's contractor safety induction before they work on any University site.

The induction aims to ensure all individuals working on our sites are aware of UWA's safety policies, procedures and documentation as set out in the Contractor Safety Handbook.

The induction will conclude with an assessment, in which people must achieve a pass of 85 per cent to be issued with a temporary UWA contractor safety induction card, which can be printed by the inductee. The inductee must then attend the University to collect their permanent photo-bearing induction card as soon as practical.

The safety induction card is valid for three years and must be carried at all times on UWA sites and shown on request.

To maintain contractor safety, contractors must be familiar with UWA?s Contractor's Handbook and have completed the online induction.

To be registered on the induction system the following information is required and should be sent to Client Services at email: [email protected].
