UWA's S&H 'Our Commitment' Statement outlines a UWA-Wide assurance from VC Amit Chakma that safety is a high priority throughout UWA.
The UWA S&H 'Our Commitment' Statement should be displayed in all School, Research Group and Business Unit main high traffic areas to reinforce the importance of safety with staff and visitors.
UWA's S&H Policy is aligned to UWA's Policy Framework formally documents the requirement for all members of the University Community to work within the requirements outlined in UWA's Safety Management System (SMS) Framework and other key documents described on this webpage.
UWA's S&H Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025 will embed a proactive safety culture to lead and guide all staff to deliver and students to achieve their educational, research and community engagement goals - safely.
Together we can continuously improve safety in the workplace by being aware of UWA's S&H Strategic Objectives and embedding the Safety Leadership and Guiding Principles as outlined in the Strategic Plan into all of UWA's activities.
UWA's Leadership and Governance Framework defines responsibilities and accountabilities throughout all levels of UWA and its activities.
